Nordic ID is one of the leading providers of hand-held terminals in Europe and high technology companies in Finland. Nordic ID mobile hand-held terminal systems are commonly used all over Europe in retail, logistics and service solutions.
 
Nordic ID needed new, easy to use and integratable hand-held products based on wireless standards. Also, the products had to be networked without compromising the security and life span of a battery and would be globally exportable. Nordic ID investigated several wireless technology companies and vendors and finally chose to rely on Bluegiga Technologies Oy. Bluegiga’s complete one-stop -based solution with its unique BluRoam™ roaming capability, and an advanced simple module-control interface, iWRAP™, suited Nordic ID perfectly. Bluegiga Integration Services also delivered a turnkey integration project that embedded Bluegiga’s WT11 Bluetooth module into Nordic ID RF651 mobile bar code reader. The customers of Nordic ID are using the Bluegiga Access Servers™ together with mobile readers for product data management, inventories and logistics functions in Nordic ID ’s secure, fully network -based real time system .
