The Health Device Profile (HDP) is an application profile that defines the requirements for qualified Bluetooth medical, health, and fitness device implementations. This profile is used for connecting data source devices, such as blood pressure monitors, weight scales, glucose meters, thermometers and pulse oximeters to data sink devices, mobile phones, laptops, computers and health appliances wiressly.
