Itronix Selects Bluegiga WRAP THOR Bluetooth Module for its Rugged State-of-the-art Laptop

Itronix Equips its Gobook� III Rugged Military-Grade Laptop with

Bluetooth Networking from Bluegiga

Espoo Finland and CTIA Wireless Conference, New Orleans � March 14, 2005 -  Bluegiga Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of Bluetooth systems platform to system integrators and original equipment manufacturers, today announced that Itronix has selected Bluegiga�s WRAP THOR^� Bluetooth modules to be embedded into Itronix Gobook III laptops for Bluetooth connectivity.

Itronix requirements for the Bluetooth technology provider were very rigorous and demanding as Itronix�s laptops are for a range of applications in extreme conditions and demand tight requirements for durability and ruggedness.  Itronix�s Gobook III meets and exceeds the rigid military standard, MIL-STD 810F, requirements.  The same requirements were put on the Bluetooth solution to be used inside of the Gobook III.

�Our customer base is very demanding on what comes to the durability and ruggedness of our products�, says Hidde Hanenburg, Director Wireless Development of Itronix, �We naturally need to put the same requirements on the technology and providers we use and after testing products from several competitors and carefully inspecting the providers, we soon came to conclusion that Bluegiga and their WRAP THOR^�  modules meet our needs.�
