WRAP THOR Bluetooth module to be integrated into Cirronet products

and BlueGiga Announce Partnership Enabling Short-range Data Links in Wireless
Industrial Products

CirronetTM,
Inc., a leading provider of industrial wireless data products, and BlueGiga
Technologies, the leading supplier of industrial Bluetooth solutions,
have signed a nonexclusive partnership agreement to integrate BlueGiga
Technologies' WRAP THOR short-range wireless modules into new Cirronet
products slated for U.S. distribution later this year. Cirronet will also
distribute the entire WRAP (Wireless Remote Access Platform) product line
in the United States.
The WRAP THOR is a robust, compact, configurable Bluetooth module optimized
for embedded applications. The module is available in both 10m and 100m
range versions. It enables device manufacturers to easily add secure and
robust wireless communications elements in new or existing applications.
The module's compact size provides an easy, inexpensive way to integrate
wireless short-range data links into industrial and commercial systems.
Cirronet will add firmware to make the integrated products easy to use
in serial, point-to-point applications. The WRAP product line also includes
access points, cable replacers and software products.

BlueGiga
gains U.S. distribution for its WRAP THOR modules and standalone products
in Cirronet's line of industrial wireless products, which include transceiver
modules, Ethernet bridges, network access points and standalone serial
modems for OEMS and industrial designers.
