Cirronet HN-110 wireless modem now available.

Cirronet™ Inc., US-distributor for BlueGiga, has announced integration of Bluetooth wireless technology to its products. The BlueGiga product used in HN-110 is the WRAP THOR 2022-1 module.

Cirronet is a leading provider of wireless transceivers and broadband Internet products. They have announced the immediate availability of their HopNet HN-110 wireless modem for point-to-point wireless connectivity in industrial and commercial environments.

The HN-110 is a stand-alone wireless modem configured in a NEMA 4X-rated weatherproof enclosure with a built-in 6db patch antenna, features a range of 100 meters and 100 kilobits per second throughput. The HN-110 is the first new product to emerge from Cirronet's recently announced partnership with BlueGiga Technologies.

Examples of potential applications for the HN-110, he noted, include: controlling text on electric signs without signal interference from the power source; short-range remote controls for hazardous material handling; and any short-range outdoor telemetry application.
