BLUEGIGA RELEASES A DATABASE UPDATE FOR MOBILE PHONE RECOGNITION ENGINE OF OBEXSENDER SOFTWARE

Bluegiga releases a database update for its Obexsender Mobile Phone Recognition software. The new database improves Bluegiga Access Servers to identify the mobile phone model of a user, enabling the system to push the tailored content used in Bluetooth Marketing applications.

Espoo, January 17th - Bluegiga Access Servers’ mobile phone recognition database gets a new significant update. The new database includes 350 different mobile phone models. This new database extends significantly the available features of Bluegiga Access Servers, allowing the system integrator to tailor the content or an application even for each phone separately.

The new database is available immediately for downloading at Bluegiga Online Support: techforum.bluegiga.com. To increase the number of identified phones, Bluegiga has developed a simple interface into an Access Server software, making the phone fingerprint recording just a one-minute task.
