Sorex Wireless Solutions is an Austrian company providing and Bluetooth other wireless solutions for industrial applications.

Almost 90% of garage gates are opened by remote control, however almost 80% of house doors with a key. Sorex developed a patent-protected solution, Sorex Wireless Key. Every Bluetooth compatible mobile phone becomes a secure key. This highly secured access system opens doors automatically. The key is a Bluetooth compatible mobile phone, which can remain in a bag or pocket while opening a door. The Bluetooth technology is provided by WT11 Bluetooth module from Bluegiga Technologies Oy. The mobile phone doesn't need any modifications and every Bluetooth compatible mobile phone worldwide can be used as an electronic key. The range is adjustable from a few centimeters to several meters. Users are able to choose between the basic solution and professional solution. Wireless key Basic is designed for families and opens one door and authorizes ten users. Wireless key Professional is for professional use and can open several doors with up to 2500 users.

The applications vary, for example garage gates, hotel administration, sliding doors, front doors, portals, garden gates, and revolving doors.
