DESCRIPTION
The WRAP 1100 MicroServer for board-to-board integration captures
the Wireless Remote Access Platform (WRAP™) concept in a small
form factor, integrated single board wireless computer. By combining
Bluetooth, networking technologies and the Linux operating system,
the WRAP 1100 MicroServer enables you to replace cables, network
your devices (M2M) and interface with equipment using mobile devices.
The MicroServer can easily be embedded onto the motherboard of any
system.
USAGE SCENARIOS
Mobility
is increased when keypads, monitors and other traditional user interfaces
are replaced by the user's handheld device (mobile phone, PDA, lap
top). Local monitoring and machine control is enabled by Java over
Bluetooth and the built in web server. Both professional users and
consumers benefit from mobile interaction now being possible with
the WRAP 1260 MicroServer.
The
WRAP 1260 also eliminates cabling installation and cabling maintenance
costs as it enables a wireless local machine network. Since the
MicroServer can interact with any gateway of choice (Ethernet/GSM/GPRS/ISDN/PSTN),
networking devices for remote control and monitoring is very easy.
