Bluegiga Bluetooth Access Devices

Bluegiga Bluetooth Access Devices™ product family offers simple and efficient network connectivity for Bluetooth enabled devices. Bluegiga’s access devices incorporate Bluegiga’s latest generation long range Bluetooth module. By incorporating this long range module, Bluegiga is able to extend the access device connection footprint four times further for a typical class 1 Bluetooth device. This translates to more than 80 meters range between our access device and a class 2 Bluetooth device, such as a cellphone.

The Bluetooth access devices are available in several product variants that combine multiple Bluetooth radios with 2G/3G, Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity in a single, integrated platform. They are capable of supporting up to 21 simultaneous Bluetooth connections making them an ideal solution to network multiple Bluetooth devices in close proximity to customer software systems.

Equipped with Linux™ operating system and software interface our access devices offer flexible operating modes for data routing, application hosting and protocol conversation.
