Ortivus AB is a Healthcare IT company that offers information and decision-making support systems for Healthcare, Emergency Services and Public Safety in Europe and North America. Since clinical information is crucial for modern healthcare, Ortivus has implemented a wireless system for monitoring and storing ECG data from heart patients.

Ortivus created a wireless autonomous system for hospitals using Bluetooth transmitters and Bluegiga Access servers. The data is sent from the Bluetooth ECG device via the Bluegiga Access server to the clinical database. The data is available to all local monitors and hospital staff. The system enables patients to move around in the hospital while being monitored from the cardiac workstations.
